　　当地时间6月3日，美国加州门罗公园市展出富有时尚环保特色的集装箱活动房屋(又称住人集装箱)。这个集装箱活动房屋式建筑的名称是Sunset Idea House(又称 Cargotecture c192 Nomad)，是由美国西雅图 HyBrid 公司的建筑设计师乔伊·伊甘和罗伯特·罕柏共同设计设计和制造的。

　　建筑是由一个20英尺的标准集装箱改造而成，这个集装箱在使用9年后被淘汰下来，之前曾经运送着货物去过许多的国家，经过了数百万公里的路程。一个其貌不扬的废旧二手集装箱可以改建成雅致实用的现代化房屋，不仅坚固耐用，功能齐全，更符合环保绿色概念，兼具时尚及个性，为民众提供居住多样化选择。这个集装箱活动房屋是一个小型的生活空间，面积约17.8平方米，可以供4个人生活居住。房间有落地玻璃窗，竹木地板，沙发，有两张可折叠双人床，厨卫齐全。这还是一个非常现代化的建筑，利用太阳能提供用电和热水。
